The historic Firehouse Inn is located along the Winooski River in Barre, across the street from the renowned Barre Opera House. The inn is within walking distance to the Barre Civic Center and many restaurants including Espresso Bueno and Bamboo Garden. Thunder Road International SpeedBowl is only 5 minutes from the inn by car. The Firehouse Inn has 4 well-appointed guest suites featuring traditional décor, each with plush bedding, full kitchen with granite countertops, cable TV, microwave, and fridge. Wireless internet access is available throughout the inn. Once a functioning firehouse, the inn now features a firefighter museum, as well as the Ladder Grill and Pub, serving brick oven pizza, NY sirloin steak, burgers, and other choices.
